Because of the sensitive nature of the digestive system in children, it is common for kids to have digestive upsets that lead to their bowels being occasionally either loose or not moving. When the bowels are not moving, it is helpful to relieve the stagnation of food and stool without excessive moistening or over-stimulation of the bowel. Easy Going enhances digestion and eliminates Qi (energy) stagnation.

Easy Going is a modification of Tummy Tamer that, in addition to eliminating food stagnation and accumulation, unbinds the Qi of the intestines. It addresses occasional childhood irregularity that may arise from a variety of circumstances including improper diet, travel and the challenge of adapting to a new environment or daily schedule.

The Easy Going formula is similar to Tummy Tamer, but with added ingredients that support healthy intestinal balance to overcome the occasional retention of food and feces. The additional ingredients aid the digestion of proteins, fats and starches by toning and activating the stomach and small intestine, while regulating the stomach Qi, thus promoting the proper movement of foods through the gut.

If your child is experiencing any of the following, your practitioner might recommend Easy Going:

  • Irregularity of bowel movements or constipation
  • Gas, bloating, loss of appetite and other symptoms of digestive disharmony
  • Supports healthy digestion and elimination

There are certain circumstances requiring caution in determining if your child needs to go to the doctor’s office, however. If your child is experiencing any of the following, you should call your pediatrician:

  • Suspected appendicitis or bowel obstruction
  • Acute gastroenteritis (stomach or intestinal flu)
  • High fever (102o F or higher)
  • Thirst, dehydration, sweating, weakness or lethargy
